The beginning of Ganesh as Lord of the Universe

Ganesh is the Supreme God, the son of Parvati (the mountain) and Shiva (The ascetic God), one of the complex aspects of the divine trinity (Vishnu and Brahma).

Ganesh is only son of Parvati, who created from itself, a clear similarity with the conception of Jesus in Christianity (For one: Shiva gave Parvati all cosmic powers, and to others, Parvati while Devi, is the very "Creatix" of existence, containing in itself all the powers and energies <Kali/Shakti>).

Known for being born twice from two major myths, which focus on the loss of sacrifice for the greater good. The loss of the human head, for some because of his father Shiva, for others because of his uncle Saturn (Shani) lead to subsequent resurrection through replacement of a head of a young elephant (with the help of his uncle Vishnu - the god of preservation).

(Myth: "When Lord Shiva's son Ganesha was born, his mother Parvati wanted to show the boy to Saturn. Saturn advised her not to, however she insisted and Saturn gazed upon the child with one eye. Instantly Ganesha's head was burnt to ashes. To prevent Parvati's anger from destroying the universe, Lord Vishnu, cut the head off a bull elephant he had found, and joined it successfully to Ganesha's body. This is why Lord Ganesha has the head of an elephant!")

In both cases, symbolizes a new life after death, with the expansion of powers because Ganesh is no longer merely the keeper of the gate of the house of his mother but, now is the Lord of the Universe.

After this summary it can be stated that after he was granted the supreme sacrifice of death and resurrection, The avatar of Parvati, confirm its mission of lord of all being and all categories (ganas): Ganapati.

As the son of Shiva - the awareness and Shakti, the energy, cosmic Ganesh epitomizes the excellence of their parents

He is the bridge, the transition, the beginning and end, change and the meantimesustainability and decline, the essence of the permanent universe.

I argue about this topic in another post.
